John Almeida is a co-founder of BeaconHead Partners and serves as Managing Partner and Co-Chair of the Investment Committee. John has more than 25 years of transaction and operating experience in the technology-enabled services sector. Most recently, John was a partner at AEA Investors leading the firm’s technology-enabled services sector. John previously completed several technology investments and was the founder and had a senior management role at Reimagine Holdings Group before the company was sold to a strategic buyer. John began his private equity career at Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe (WCAS), where he was a general partner and member of the management committee.

Starting at WCAS, John and Sanjay have worked together for more than 25 years and have built several businesses together as investors.

John holds a B.A. degree from Yale College, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
